Short, in plain English. Version 2, August 2026. We collect the least we can and we do not sell it.

What we collect

When you book a scan we collect the website address, your name, your work email address, and how many websites you look after. If you become a customer we also hold your billing records and the sign-offs and certificates you create.

We read publicly visible pages on the website you give us. We do not try to reach anything behind a login, and we respect your robots.txt.

Why we keep it

To run the scan, send your report, answer your emails, take payment and keep the record you asked us to keep. That is all.

What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your details. We do not send marketing you did not ask for. We do not pass your data to anyone except the suppliers below who help us run the service.

Who else touches it

We use suppliers for hosting, email and payments. They act on our instructions and only get what they need to do their part.

How long we keep it

Scan bookings that never become customers are deleted after twelve months. Billing records are kept for six years because tax law requires it. Certificates stay verifiable for as long as they are published.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@swornmark.com and we will reply within one month. If you are not happy with our answer you can complain to your data protection regulator.

Cookies

We only set an analytics cookie if you allow it in the banner. If you do, Google Analytics sets its _ga cookies so it can count visits and tell repeat visitors from new ones. IP addresses are anonymised and we do not use advertising cookies or share analytics data for advertising. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie choices link in the footer. Beyond that we only use what is needed to make the site work.

Changes

If this notice changes we will update the version note at the top and tell customers by email.
